When you give your child a name like NORTH WEST. Expect reactions.

Following the revelation that Kim and Kanye have named their baby girl North West, Twitter has been flooded with comical reactions from fans.
One female tweeter PamHuTch said that she hoped the couple's baby becomes a fashion designer, so she could launch a diffusion line and call it 'North by North West'.

And another horrified commentator JoeGeorgee, said it was like Liam Payne from One Direction 'calling his kid Period'. Brookestirling suggested that she will get married at 16, 'purely for a last name that isn't a direction on the compass'
Many also posted images of Northwest branded airplanes, citing them as the 'first official photos' of the stars' newborn.

However, some have given the unusual moniker a thumbs up.
Kiss starGene Simmons, tweeted: ''North' is a fine name. North West. In either case, it's their baby. North is better than some I've heard: Lashonda & Facishia. What say you.'
AndGottaStayFTD said: 'Y'all making fun of North West for that baby's name but she going straight to the top . . . and slightly to the left.'

UK Glamour magazine editor Jo Elvin, explained that while she isn't a fan of the name, her husband thinks it's 'pretty good'.
'Glad we have just the one child and that I came up with the name,' she added.

One Twitter user Chrisreed619, who claims to be 'a former licensed sea captain' said he applauded 'Kim and Kanye's commitment to bringing awareness back to basic navigation.'
Sources close to the couple confirmed the decision, which comes five days after Kim welcomed her first child at a hospital in Los Angeles.

The announcement ends the intense speculation over the child's name, with other rumoured options said to include Kaidence Donda, in honour of Kanye's late mother.
And a source told UsWeekly that the couple have already given their daughter a nickname - she will be 'Nori for short'.

Many have pointed out that this means 'belief' in Japanese. They added that the child has no middle name.

They had it coming.
