Electric cars to hit mass production in the next 5 years - Elon Musk, Ceo and Chairman Tesla
I listened to an interview granted by Elon Musk, Ceo and chairman of Tesla on Bloomberg TV yesterday, where the billionaire Car maker said he believes electric powered cars will begin to be sold to consumers in the U.S in the next 5 years. And in the next 10 to 12 years, electric engines will gradually replace fuel engine cars.
What's this means is that, America would require lesser oil for cars as most of their cars will be running on electricity. Now that will mean more cars will be shipped to Africa, and Nigeria especially. Both second-hand and new.
This hopefully will result in prize drop for cars that would be shipped to Nigeria.
For sure it could take Nigeria more than 5 years to sort out our electricity needs, so electric cars is not something we should even be talking about for now.
This is how men of purpose plan for their unborn generation, making the earth cleaner and safer. Electric cars does not have any emissions.
You can read a news report on the story Elon Musk: Tesla to make affordable electric car in three to four years carried on CBS.
