Nigeria’s Federal Government on Thursday
declared October 15 and October 16 as public holiday to commemorate the muslim
festival of Eid-el- Kabir.
The Minister of Interior, Mr Abba Moro,
made the announcement in a statement in Abuja.
The statement, signed by the Permanent
Secretary in the ministry, Mrs Fatima Bamidele, urged Nigerians to use the
occasion to pray for the peace and unity of the nation.
