A High Court in Ahoada, East Local Government
area of Rivers State, was bombed in the early hours of Monday 9 June.
It was reported that court files and property
worth millions of naira were destroyed but no life was lost.
This is coming four months after a bomb blast
rocked the High Court causing substantial damage to a section of the court.
Witnesses are saying that the bomb may have targeted court records and
exhibits. Destroyed in the bomb blast were electronic gadgets, furnitures and
the administrative offices of the court.
Thank God no life was lost. No group has so
far claimed responsibility for the blast.
