During
the African Union Summit in Addis Alaba in January, D’banj lauched the ‘Do
Agric’ Petition. An initiative that calls on leaders for more and better
investment in agriculture.
In
April, along with 19 other African artists, D’banj recorded the hit song –
Cocoa Na Chocolate to promote the petition and help re-brand agriculture among
Africa’s youths.
So
far, the compaign has been a huge success with over 2 million Africans from
different countries in Africa signing the petition.
D’banj
recently met with ONE co-founded and singer, Bono of U2 to present him with the
petition.
