Nigerian
Police detectives attached to the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad, (FSARS)
Force CID Annex, Lagos busted a deadly armed robbery gang, arresting key members
of the gang.
The
police also recovered 17 stolen cars and two locally made single barrel pistol
and assorted ammunition as well as other exhibit which the suspects stole from
different states of the country.
A
petition by a victim of the group who complained that he was robbed of two
vehicles and other valuable on June 27 at his Ile-Ife home led to the arrest of
28-year old Omoniyi Ajewole from Ilesha and upon interrogation, evidence led to
the arrest of other gang members.
