Lagos State Government To Look For Passengers In The Flight With The Liberian Ebola Victim - In A Race To Prevent The Spread Of The Virus
The
Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris has announced
that the State has instigated a search for those on the same flight
from Togo to Lagos with Liberia's Patrick Sawyer, who died last
Friday in Lagos of Ebola virus.
The
commissioner is saying that, this is mandatory in order to prevent
the spread of the deadly virus in the state.
''We
are going to trace all of them, each one of them is going to be
questioned. There is a protocol they will follow in terms of
questioning. They are going to be monitored in the next 21 days to
see if any of them has the symptoms.'' Idris said.
..........
Doesn't that flight has a Passenger Manifest? I pray they are all well. The disease only becomes contagious when symptoms begins to appear and it's not spread over the air but via body fluid and body contact at this stage. So there is a strong likelihood none of them is infected. But they all have to be checked to be sure.
Go Get Laid by Your Wife Or A Side Chick, Dencia Rep Tells NAFDAC Boss – Dencia Arrest Saga!
I
got this story from a sister blog and decided to share:
Apparently during an recent interview, the Director-General of NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhii was alleged to have said that he would arrest Nigerian/Cameroonian singer and entrepreneur Dencia if she ever attempts to sell her ''Whitenicious'' cream in Nigeria, saying it might cause skin cancer. Her rep did not find the accusation funny and let it rip on the Dr. Paul Orhii...
Dr Paul was quoted at the recently held Nigerian Entertainment Industry Health Insurance Convention which took place on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at the Grand Ballroom of Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, to have said, ‘There is this Cameroonian singer that has been going around with a cream…if I get her, she’ll be arrested’.
Cycling is World's Most Drilling Sport And Here's Proof – Rider Post Pics Of His Legs After Race
A
Polish rider, Bartosz Huzarski causes a social media storm when he
posted a shocking image of his legs on Facebook after the 18th
stage of Tour de France.
Bartosz,
33, was bombarded with abuse, including accusations of doping,
following the revelation of his veiny legs. But Huzarski replied: Of
course I will not have the legs like Victoria’s Secret models, or
Mary from a nearby vegetable shop, or anyone working in an office who
does a 10km bike ride or an hour run three times a week.
….......
Are
people so ignorant or are they just seeking for their five minutes
of fame. Cycling is the most drilling sport in the world and the Tour
de France the king of that punishment. Men who indulge in the sport
of cycling are told they stand a higher risk of been sterile (low
sperm count) due to the constant heat been created in the scrotum area. So let the men be, you enjoy the sport, see the real pain.
Blessing Okagbare wins 100m Women's Commonwealth Games gold for Nigeria
Blessing
Okagbare was utterly dominant as she helped to ease the memory of
London 2012 by winning Commonwealth gold in the women's 100m.
The
25-year-old finished last in the Olympic final, but won the first of
three possible individual titles in Glasgow as she powered to glory
in the 100m in a new Games record of 10.85secs.
Her freshly dyed
golden hair shone just as much as her performance.
The
Nigerian, who will also contest the 200m and long jump, stayed
relaxed to power past experienced Jamaicans Veronica Campbell-Brown
and Kerron Stewart, who finished second and third in 11.03secs and
11.07secs, in the last 50m.
..........
Well done Blessing. You are finally living up to your own expectation, being the best. Congratulations Nigeria. For the record, only Blessing ran under 11 sec.

The Osun People Should Decide - Empty Seats At Debate
In
what was supposed to be a dabate by the Governorship candidates of
different parties for the forth coming Osun State elections, the
Peoples Democratic Party and the Labout Party in Osun State, Senator
Iyiola Omisore and Alhaji Fatai Akinbade respectively on Saturday
shunned a radio debate organised for them and Governor Rauf
Aregbesola.
The
debate was organised by a United States of America-based
International Republican Institute.
Aregbesola,
who was said to have gone to Mecca for the lesser hajj was said to
have cut short his trip and returned to honour the debate but his
co-debaters failed to show up.
Omisore
had earlier said that he was ready for a debate with Aregbesola but
he expressed the fear that the governor might physically assault him.
….......
Well, the Osun people
should decide.
Muslims Tell Sultan, Don't Negotiates For Chibok Girls
The
Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs has warned the Sultan of
Sokoto, Alhaji Saád Abubakar, not to hold talks with the dreaded
Islamic sect, Boko Haram, until he receives an official approval from
the Federal Government.
The
council is afraid the Sultan might be blackmailed by the government
if he goes ahead to negotiate with the terrorists group without any official
consent.
Some
Islamic elite, under the aegis of Concerned Muslim Professionals, had
written to the Sultan earlier in July, asking him to lead the
dialogue with the Boko Haram sect.

Lagos Massage Parlours Where Sex Is ‘after-service’ Bonus
It is unbelievable what happens in Lagos now adays. Practically anything can happen whether you know it or not. Pleasure seems to be the game and sex the currency.
For
as little as a body massage some ladies are willing to pay with their
bodies.
Just
recently PUNCH ran a piece with the above title. It centered upon
male hair stylist, masseuses and tattooists.
The
interview is about how some ladies who patronize these people for
their services but instead of paying with cash would preface to pay for these services with sex.
The
first story was about one Kunle Olutayo, a male hair stylist, who it
was said ''With an endless string of female customers, could no
longer worry about his failing nerves since some of his female
customers were woman enough to take the initiative.''
Kunle
tells his story:
“This
job is not for womanisers. If you’re a womaniser, stay away from
this job because you will continue to lose money. When I first
started the job, it exposed me to so many women for the first time. I
used to be very shy but on this job, I met women who seduced me. Some
of the women would seduce their stylists to avoid paying for the
service, which also means not paying on subsequent visits.
MY THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
More reasons to trust God, He is my Strength therefore I will not be afraid.

EBOLA UNDATE: Liberian Man Tested For Ebola Virus Alleged To Have Pass Away - Is Ebola Now In Lagos?
The
scare of the Ebola virus is gradually hitting home not with the
alleged death of the Patrick Sawyer, a Liberian official of the
Ministry of Finance, who was on Thursday receiving treatment for what
was suspected to be Ebola virus.
Patrick
was said to have died on Thursday night at the First Consultant
Medical Centre, Obalende.
….......
If
this news is true, then Nigeria has officially joined the African
nations who have recorded death from the dreaded Ebola Virus and that
is indeed a sad thing. The Ebola virus is one of the deadliest virus
ever known to man with virtually no known cure. The only remedy is to
isolate the patient and hope the curtail of drugs administered to
him/her works but in most cases the result have be terminal as Ebola has one of the highest fatality rate of 90%
So
it is best to adhere to the simple advice given and not to catch the
disease at all.
Keep
personal and environmental hygiene and if you notice any strange
feeling or symptoms similar to those of Ebola virus; fever, headache,
diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, sore throat and joint pains, which are
also symptoms of other ailments, visit the nearest competent health
facilities.
Where
such facilities don't exist, call the following numbers please.

Maheeda Gives Reason Why Prostitution Should Be Legalized In Nigeria
Controversial
singer Maheeda who is known for making headlines with her racy, naked
and sometimes nude photos, coupled with unfiltered statements has said,
prostitution should be made legal in Nigeria.
Her
reasoning being that, since it is everywhere, she sees no reason why
the government should delay in making it a way of life.
“...I
think prostitution should be legalized. I have been there, I have
been with these girls. I have been to Holland where I think it's
legal. It won't be bad if it is legalized because it's everywhere
anyway. So it's better if it's legalized.'' She said
Toyin Lawani: It is the Will of God that I’m with a Younger Man – (Halleluya then)
With
so many Nollywood and ''Celebrity'' marriages not seeing the light of
day, it is refreshing to hear that a relationship is the will of God
especially when its coming from a Nigerian celebrity.
Toyin
Lawani has just revealed that she is in a relationship with rising
music act Trigakess who is 10 years younger than her.
Toyin
is 31 and Trigakess is 21.
On
January 1st, the
couple welcomed a son, Toyin also has a daughter.
Toyin
speaking to Punch said, it is the will of God for her to date the
22-year old insisting that she is not bothered about all the
criticisms and in fact their relationship has grown stronger than
ever a year later.
The
couple call themselves ''Mr and Mrs Swag''
….......
I
hope her relationship ends in a blissful marriage life, especially
since she says ''its the will of God'', by the way, since we are
talking about the will of God, the will of God is for you to first be
married before you have kids, already you have 2 and no husband yet.
That's not the will of God ma.
Get
your acts together, you are not getting any younger, by the way, I
hope you've watched, ''Forbidden Passion''-Telemundo?
