EBOLA UNDATE: Liberian Man Tested For Ebola Virus Alleged To Have Pass Away - Is Ebola Now In Lagos?


The scare of the Ebola virus is gradually hitting home not with the alleged death of the Patrick Sawyer, a Liberian official of the Ministry of Finance, who was on Thursday receiving treatment for what was suspected to be Ebola virus.
Patrick was said to have died on Thursday night at the First Consultant Medical Centre, Obalende.

If this news is true, then Nigeria has officially joined the African nations who have recorded death from the dreaded Ebola Virus and that is indeed a sad thing. The Ebola virus is one of the deadliest virus ever known to man with virtually no known cure. The only remedy is to isolate the patient and hope the curtail of drugs administered to him/her works but in most cases the result have be terminal as Ebola has one of the highest fatality rate of 90%

So it is best to adhere to the simple advice given and not to catch the disease at all.

Keep personal and environmental hygiene and if you notice any strange feeling or symptoms similar to those of Ebola virus; fever, headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, sore throat and joint pains, which are also symptoms of other ailments, visit the nearest competent health facilities.
