US Supreme Court strikes down in part the federal Defense of Marriage Act. DOMA. Gay couples now have same rights.

While supporters of marriage equality celebrated the Supreme Court's historic decision on gay marriage Wednesday, religious conservatives slammed the rulings and vowed to continue their fight against same-sex unions.
Today is a tragic day for marriage and our nation," Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone said in a joint statement representing U.S. bishops. "The Supreme Court has dealt a profound injustice to the American people by striking down in part the federal Defense of Marriage Act. The Court got it wrong."

The federal government ought to respect the truth that marriage is the union of one man and one woman, even where states fail to do so... The future of marriage and the well-being of our society hang in the balance...
Marriage is the only institution that brings together a man and a woman for life, providing any child who comes from their union with the secure foundation of a mother and a father.
Basicallywhat it means is, it is now legal for a man to marry another man. Both Men couple will now be accorded all the rights and benefits that is given to a marriage between a man and a woman. Formerly some States did not allow them some rights

What a shame. Let me not go into why this is wrong in all of it ramification. Marriage is Pre-Law. That is, it came before the law ever came into existence, therefore no politician or law should change what was not created by law in the first place.
Marriage between a man and woman was constituted by God and form the core of our Humanity. When you temper with that, disaster is the only outcome. What indeed a shame.

Just sad it's happening in the time when a Black man ruled the greatest country in the world. So sad. America is Doomed. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah.
