Barcelona were this evening beaten 3 nil at home in the 2nd leg of the Champions League semi final by Bayern Munich.
Messi, who did not play was seen seated at the reserve bench.
Bayern will now meet another German side, Borussia Dortmund, who went through on account of another Spanish side, Real Madrid in the finals at Wembley on May 25.
