Manchester United were saved from another defeat in their pre-season friendly against AIK in Stockholm, Sweden by substitute Angelo Henriquez. The match ended one goal apiece.

Many of the senior members of Manchester United are said to be unhappy with the Wayne Rooney saga. They believe the player is trying to force his way out of the club and the whole issue is having a negative effect on the club's preparation for the coming season.

Rooney has made it clear that he wants to leave Manchester United and Chelsea are not wasting time in trying to sign him on, with two bids for him already rejected by Manchester United. A third and possibly final bid is said to be on it's way.

Chelsea defender David Luiz is likely to be on his way out of Chelsea as report has it that, Barcelona football director Raul Sanllehi has travelled to London to set the wheels in motion for a move for him. But I thought Madrid also wanted Luiz?

If Chelsea sells him at £40m they will be making good money for him but why would they want to sell a very good defender especially as Terry is aging. Well, I leave that to Mourinho.

Nicolas Anelka seem to be following the way of his good friend and twice former team mates Didier Drogba has he rolled back the years to scored a hat trick for his new club West Brom as they beat Cork City 6-0 in one of their last pre-season friendly.
