Fighting in Venezuelan Parliament after opposition MPs are banned from speaking until they accept election result.

Lawmakers in Venezuelan punched, kicked and shoved one another last night as post-election conflict between Hugo Chavez's heirs, former bus driver Nicolas Maduro and rivals exploded into a brawl on the floor of Parliament.

the fighting broke out after the representatives of the country's ruling party voted to stop opposition members from speaking until they accepted their candidate's loss in the recent presidential election.

seven of the opposition parliamentarians were attacked according to claims by the opposition while the government lawmakers blamed the outbreak of violence on their 'facist' rival.

the opposition leader, Mr Capriles who narrowly lost the election is boycotting an official audit of the election result and plans to file a challenge seeking to overturn it in court.

A former bus driver is their president, can that ever happen in Nigeria?
