Ebola Update: Second American Aid Worker Weak But Improving Says Husband


The plight of the second American air worker affected with the Ebola virus has now been relieved. According to her, she is weak but shows signs of improvement.

Her husband who is still in Liberia told the president of the aid group SIM USA Tuesday that his wife, Nancy Writebol was progressing. Bruce Johnson, president SIM USA spoke with David Writebol, who said, his wife 59-year-old stood and got on a plane in Liberia with assistance to head to Atlanta for treatment. When she arrive Tuesday, she was wheeled in a stretcher.

David Writebol said the family was considering funeral arrangements, but now feels relieved and cautiously optimistic. Praising her treatment in Liberia.

Johnson said, SIM is currently working on bringing David back home, he also said SIM has spent nearly $1 million since the diagnoses of Nancy Writebol and the first American brought back, 33-year-old Dr. Kent Brantly.
