Al Jazeera America debuts in the U.S, Promising 'Real' News

Al Jazeera America officially became the nation's newest cable news network, offering a no-frills approach to journalism that contradicts recent trends, while trying to overcome a somewhat negative perception of it by Americans. Al Jazeera replaces Current TV, the U.S. cable network it bought eight months ago after trying and failing for years to get U.S. cable and satellite providers to carry Al Jazeera English.

Congratulations to them. Lets hope it brings the needed fresh air into news reporting as promised.
