Lanre
Rajifuja is a man of many parts. Born in the month of the stars, (August), he’s
never stopped evolving as an artiste. As a toddler influenced by TV programs
like Sesame Street, Muppet show, Vision on; music stars like Michael Jackson,
Tina turner; he was inspired by magic moments of the golden 80s.
An undergraduate of chemical engineering at LASU, he started making demos and soon became known as the new kid on the block. He hooked up with childhood friend Sukanmi Pedro and formed the group “B-raw”. But like most artiste, going solo seemed to suit his soul.
Teaming up with ace veteran producer OJB Jezreel at his Surulere home studios, N-I-G-E-R-I-A-N was recorded and received massive airplay from top radio stations. His next effort was a collaboration called PEPE REST JOOR!
“You’d say I do pop/afro hip-hop but I’d say I do candid conscious motivational feel good music”. You be the judge. Whatever you call it, one thing’s for sure: Rajcore seems to be in a class of his own.
