The Church is failing the Nation of Nigeria.

I have tried to hold my peace from saying anything about the Church of Christ and their involvement in the politics of this nation but after watching Stella Damascus's video on the child for bride on going issue in the Senate, I think I should just say a few things.

Some of my friends have lost Faith in the Nigerian Churches and when I ask them why, they ask me, with all the churches in Nigeria, why are things becoming worst; more crimes, more sufferings and less of any thing good?

What has the church, here I mean the leaders of the church being doing to make the lives of their members better. It seem to me all the church care about is how to attend the status of a Mega Church and improve the lives of their leaders than see to the improvement of the lives of their members. They are busy building structures instead of building lives.

Ever since the issue of the constitutional amendment with regard to marriage aged limit came up, I am yet to hear one known minister voice out an opinion against the proposed amendment. Why is this so?.

Is it that, driving big cars and living in big houses has made some of our ministers loss sense of all that is real? And instead of protesting the evil, they are pretending all is well?

Today a majority of our ministers would not laid down their lives for what is right, they have become too comfortable with life on earth to care about the life after. Many of them would not want Jesus to come now or ever as long as their lives are comfortable. This men of God seem to have forgotten the injunction of Jesus Christ in:

Matthew 16:25
25 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

If pastor Martin Luther King Jr. did not lead protest matches in America when the blacks were been subject to ridicule and abuse, do you think the little freedom they enjoy now could have been achieved? He was also willing to laid down his life for his convictions.

Even with a Black president, blacks in America still suffer injustice everyday.

I may not like the company Pastor Tunde bakare's keeps but I love the spirit he possesses. He is willing not only to fight but to laid down his life for his beliefs and conviction, sadly so many ignorant so-called men of God condemn him for doing something while they do nothing.

It's just a shame. Like Paul said, these minister's bellies has become their god. They have become like over-feed generals who don't want to go to war. They eat fat on the people's tithes and offerings yet don't care about what the people are going through. They ask members to go and borrow money to fulfill vows, when they know such acts will en slave them. They don't ask of their member's well being because they don't want to offer assistance. They care only for the rich ones. They have become; Cloud and wind without rain, enemies of the cross of Christ they claim to preach, their end is destruction, whose God is their belly, whose glory is their shame, they only mind early things and comfort. Christ returning will be a distraction and not a blessings to them, for the earth have become their permanent abode.

May God deliver us from such men, masquerading themselves as angels of light but deep down raging wolfs, feeding on the blood of their members.

Everything we see and touch is temporal, it will not last. They should remember what Mordecai told Esther in:

Esther 4:13-14
13 Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, “Do not think to yourself that in the king's palace you will escape any more than all the other Jews. 14 For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Don't think by holding your peace and being in good terms with the evil leaders of our Nation, that their wicked laws and actions will not affect you. You can never know. God doesn't work that way. Be warned.

Call me whatever you like, I will keep speaking my mind, and living the truth. Nobody will live on earth forever.

Speak up for the people, and become a true leader, Jesus did against the leader of His time, the Pharisees. You can't be different from your true Master. I am speaking out, when will you?

I have just being told that CAN president, daddy Oritsejafor is to lead a protest against senators over child marriage.

That's why I will keep on loving him. He is not afraid to stand up for his convictions. God bless you sir.
