Winner
Model of Africa 2011, Kenneth Nwadike. (to his left) President Xa!
International, Mr Ovo
Model
of Africa is
put together by Xa! International, to discover that young man with
great qualities and talent who will represent Africa as Mister
International Africa at the Prestigious Mister International
Competition billed to hold in Singapore later this year. And for the
first time this year, female models will also have the opportunity to
contest for the Female version of Model of Africa 2013.
Model
of Africa as the name suggest is open to all models in Africa and not
restricted in any way to models from only Nigeria.
Past
participants have included models from other African countries and
winners have also emerged from them. While I chatted with the
President of Xa! International, Mr Ovo, inquires via emails and
messages from other African country's participants were being
handled.
This
year promises to be exciting and star studded. There is also the
possibility of established foreign models gracing the show. Mr. Ovo
isn't revealing much yet but he has promised a better show than the
previous editions, especially with the introduction of the Female
version of the competition.
Aspiring and established male and female models can register online via
Model of Africa official website.
Please
be careful to only register via this site as there are lots of
fraudsters branding similar sites as the official website.
This
is the official Model of African website, where models can both
register and make inquires. modelofafrica.com.ng
Past
winners
of Mode of African include: Kenneth
Nwadike (Winner Model of Africa 2011) and Austin Igwilo ( Winner
Model of Africa 2012).
