Kenya came from a goal down to equalize
in the 89th minutes in their world cup qualifier away
match to host Malawi.
Malawi had gone ahead in 46th minute with a goal by Ngalande while Kenya's Mohamed equalized in the 52nd minute. Malawi took the lead again in the 81st minute with a goal by Ng' ambi, only to succomb to pressure with an on-goal in the 89th minute from Kayira.

A victory for Malawi would have taken
them to the top of their group with Nigeria in second place though
with a game in hand, with 9 points and Nigeria 8.
A win for Nigeria today will ensure
victory to the next stage of the world cup qualifier as we would now
have 11 points and Malawi would only be able to gather 10 points with
victory in their last match. A draw could also be good enough for
Nigeria to qualify for the next stage.
