July 23rd,
2014 marked the 100 days of the abduction of the school girls in Chibok Local Government area of Borno State, North of
Nigeria.
The
conveners of the group led by feminist activist, Joe Okei-Odumakin
called for sustained calls for the rescue of the abducted girls and
for unity among all Nigerians to end the menace of terror that has
ravaged the country for several months now.
Among
those at the event were veteran activists Femi Aborishade, Tunji
Braithwaite, Ms. Ayo Obe, Mrs. Abiola Akiode, Nollywood movie
producer, Mr. Saidi Balogun and a member of the Lagos State House of
Assembly, Mrs. Funmi Tejuosho.
