African Nations Cup 2013
SA 2013 Draws - Eagles May Draw Ghana or Cote d'Ivoire
South Africa being the host of the Continental competition from January 19 to February 10, will avoid meeting the defending champions Zambia, Ghana and Ivory Coast - who were all among the top-seeded teams as revealed by the Confederations of African Football yesterday.
South Africa, Ghana, Zambia and Ivory Coast, who seem to have been granted qualification despite their abandoned match following riots against Senegal in Dakar on Saturday, are all in Pot 1.
Nigeria, Algeria, Morocco and Togo spread across Pot 2 to Pot 4. Teams in the same pot can not be drawn against each other.
Super Eagles Head Coach, Stephen Keshi is unfazed by the prospect of Nigeria being drawn in the same group as either Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire or even defending champions, Zambia, as he expects to face tougher opposition in the 2013 African Cup of Nations finals.
Bring them on, thats what our Coach is saying. Bring them on, we are ready. Are we?
January is around the corner, they should do their home work and we see how it goes.
