Senegal fans riot in stands after Drogba scores



Senegal is likely to be thrown out of the African Nations Cup after crowd troubles caused their qualifier with Ivory Coast to be abandoned in the 72 minutes. Ivory Coast was leading 2-0, and 6-2 on aggregate.
 
Play had already been stopped temporarily in the 65th minute when a person ran on to the pitch and almost reached Ivory coast striker Didier Drogba before been wrestled to the ground and escorted off the field.
Drogba had ealier given his side the lead in the 51 minute before adding another in the 70 minute through a penalty before proceedings were brought to a halt after the senegalese crowd felt upset at their side been beaten at home. The pictures above tell the story.

  2. If sports is all about winning then what is the use, because only one person gets to lift the trophy anyway.
