Lampard limps out of Chelsea's match with Shakhtar

Frank Lampard will likely miss Chelsea's top-of-the-table Barclays Premier League showdown with Manchester United after he lasted just 15 minutes of Chelsea's first serious defeat of the season.

Lampard limped out of the 2-1 Champions Leagues lost at Shakhtar Donetsk with a recurrence of the calf injury that ruled him out of England's World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Poland and is having a scan on Wednesday to determine the extent of the problem.

Now we see why Chelsea's 30+ one year extension policy makes sense.
