My take on the whole America SPYING European issue - Just Politicking.

All this talk about America spying on the world, I don't understand. If we all recognise America as the greatest country in the world and the president of America as the President of the Free World, why are we then shocked if the President of the Free World is LOOKING (spying) over his world. Shouldn't he? How does he manage it if he doesn't know what's going on? That's just my take on that matter. He is doing his work and doing it well.

Okay now I get it. When the U.S spied on the masses of other countries it was okay, but now he is spying on the government officials of these same countries he's been spying on their citizens for years without any complaint from them, they are upset.

More like, spy on our people, they have nothing to hid, but not on us, we do. Cool. Now I get it.

Europeans officials need to understand that, the spying mechanism was already on them before they were elected into office, and it didn't stop after the got elected. So all this isn't new. It started long time ago and you were okay with it.

Oh am sorry, I forgot. You must react to the recent leaked report by the NSA Whistleblower about the US spying on the World. Okay I get it but please, don't carry on for too long or else we might begin to think you are serious or truly care about the issue.

Oh, my bad. It is a better distraction from the economic woes of some European countries, especially with recent reports suggesting that some would not even be able to pay back the loans given to them. Now that's politicking.

We in Africa know better. You see, we have always known they have been spying on us for years. Not when a U.S. submarine emerged in our waters in Nigeria without the knowledge of our security operatives. We just laughed and welcome them.

When a country tells another country that if they refused to legalize the rights of Gays and Lesbians in their countries, they will cut funding from them. What did you think they were doing, playing? Common!!!

So you see, we knew but we just don't have the political might to fight them, not with the majority of our funding coming from The United States.
We have learn to live with it and If you want to keep on using their Social Networks like Google, Yahoo, Twitter, Facebook etc, you'd better too. For these are some of the tools used by the U.S. to spy on you.

There is this story that goes thus: Many years ago a man tried to gather people's data but the people refused to give them, so he thought about how to go about getting them. social Network was his answer. Today people freely beg Facebook, LinkedIn,Twitter to have their data. Today we give them freely but some years ago, these same people vehemently refused to do so. Social Networks made it possible. Now that's POLITICS. Haha
