Nigerians
may experience another round of fuel scarcity beginning from Monday
(today), as the National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers
begins a three-day warning strike.
The
strike is scheduled to end on Wednesday after which the union
threatened to embark on an “indefinite” industrial action if its
demands were not met.
The
National President, NUPENG, Mr. Achese Igwe, on Sunday in Abuja said that the union had ordered workers to stop
products loading at the depots. He said the strike became necessary
following a longstanding labour dispute between it and some major oil
companies in the country.
One word of advice. Buy just enough fuel for your cars and generators. PHCH no send.
