Novak
Djokovic finally broke the resolve of Juan Martin Del Potro to
advance to the Wimbledon final after a brutal, brilliant and at times
bizarre match of tennis that will go down in history as one of the
best at SW19.
The
Serbian triumphed 7-5, 4-6, 7-6, 6-7, 6-3 after 4 hours and 43
minutes – the longest Wimbledon semi-final ever – and will go for
a second title at the All England Club against either Andy Murray or
Jerzy Janowicz on Sunday.
