DJ SWITCH EMERGES THE WINNER OF GLO X FACTOR: MENTORED BY MI.

A tearful DJ Switch aka Obianuju Catherine Udeh has emerged the first winner of the world’s biggest singing reality TV show, X Factor in West Africa. Catherine who hails from Udi, Enugu State, and studied Geology at the University of Port Harcourt, worked briefly with Halliburton and before she became a DJ. She grew up in Warri, Delta State, but lives in Abuja. Her father is late and she is the last of eight children. (well, she is now almost certain to be number one, just joking oh)

The top 3 acts  in the final (Eshun, Vicky and DJ Switch) were full of anxiety as the show host, Toolz was about announcing the winner.

She was declared winner in the just concluded grand finale of the show. As she was declared the winner, DJ Switch was so filled with joy she ran off the stage to embrace and celebrate with her family that were seated in the crowd. When she was asked how she was feeling, DJ Switch could not say anything, she just sang to God in appreciation of her victory.

MI, the proud mentor of DJ Switch in his word admonished DJ Switch to keep on doing it like she did on the show, that as people have voted for her, a lot is expected from her and she must not let her fans down.

Alexandra Burke - the X Factor UK 2008 winner, Spiro Damaskinos - Sony Music Marketing Director, Bella Disu - Globacom Group Executive Director Joined DJ Switch on stage to present her the award of 24 million Naira and the recording contract deal with Sony Music.

Mrs Udeh, the mother of DJ Switch was not left out of the excitement as she approached the judges to appreciate them for grooming her daughter into becoming a Superstar.

DJ Switch first single is ready and will be released very soon for download.
Glo X Factor congratulates our first winner and wishes DJ Switch success in her music career.
Glo present the platform for fame and stardom, and with Glo X Factor, the opportunity is Unlimited.
