Fabio Coentrao has joined Manchester
United from Real Madrid on a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old Portugal left-back
has been frozen out of Real Madrid this season, failing to make a league
appearance after losing his place in the side to Marcelo last term.
United went for Coentrao after
failing to secure a deal for Everton's Leighton Baines.
