Nigerian all time record goal scorer and
first player to score for Nigerian in her first ever Senior World cup appearance,
Rashidi Yekini is placed number 17 on the list of The Best International Strike
Rates of all times.
The late Yekini remains to day one of few players in the
world never to have missed a penalty throughout his football career while
playing for both club and country. An unbelievable record by all standards. His
penalty was considered a “bullet” by keepers, who knew where he was going to
place them but could do nothing to stop them.
Yekini died aged 28 last year.
