Immigration officer member of Boko Haram arrested, reveals names of others

A Nigerian Immigration Service officer Ahmed Grema Mohammed who was arrested in 2012 on suspicion of cooperating with Boko Haram has confessed to being a Boko Haram member and disclosed names of security people who took part in the attacks in the North.

The information given by Ahmed have proven so far to be true. According to a statement by the Joint Task Force spokesman, Lt. Col Sagir Musa, Mohammed confessed to being involved in the killings of those politicians and security agents who spoke against the in the insurgents’ activities in Damaturu, so also in the attack on police headquarters and Damaturu prison and several other places.
"The suspect revealed to JTF that he and 15 other members of the organization were intensively trained for three months on G3 and AK 47 rifles, as well as in assassinations and special operations in Niger Republic. He also revealed names of some security personnel that participated in terrorists’ attacks in Borno and Yobe states."
The people named by the NIS officer were immediately arrested.

This story only confirms what the President has always said that members of Boko Haram has infiltrated his administration, including the military. This is really serious.
