FIFA to investigate Germany Fan’s blackface against Ghana

We live in a world where everything has to be politically correct and so even the slightest things done as a joke can now be viewed as an insult or racist.

Some Germany fans who painted their faces black during the Germany game against Ghana on Saturday are currently been investigated.

FIFA issued a statement that it is currently investigating photos of fan wearing blackface during Germany’s game against Ghana on Saturday.

During the match, spectators supporting the German National Team could be seen with their faces painted black and wearing white T-shirt with “Ghana” written in black.

FIFA spokewoman told the Guardian that “We always take any evidence of submissions to our disciplinary committee. It is the disciplinary committee that will meet. If they see any grounds they will open proceedings. Then it is up to the disciplinary commission to make the decision.”

First of all, is this really racism? What is wrong with the world today for heaven’s sake? People are just having fun in painting their faces just like children do and we call it racism?

We indeed live in dangerous times. I don’t think this is racism in anyway. Am sorry if I disagree with a lot of people but where will this end if we begin to call everything we don’t either understand or agree with as wrong or racist. So every time a black comedian paints his face white, like a clown, he is racist?

The World Cup is a carnival, let them have their fun.

  1. No painting your face white to be a clown is not racist because everybody paints their face white to be a clown. Even white people paint their faces white to be a clown. When do black people ever paint their face white to imitate or make fun of white people. The answer is never!

This is well known here in America that when a white person does this it is definitely hate filled and mean spirited. No one even questions it here. The answer is already known.

It is obviously that these Germans are being mean spirited. Do they ever paint themselves a little darker and wear wigs with darker hair when they play against a team from South America. The answer is absolutely not but even if they did, that would be mean spirited against the Latin people in South America.
