Punch
News is reporting that Saturday Beat on Monday witness Eminado crooner, Tiwa
Savage descended on a member of staff of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company
who she said was “rude” to her.
Tiwa
who was seen in her black and white ensemble, was seen arguing and quarreling with the NAHCO staff and her action drew a little crowd.
However,
the NAHCO lady was unfazed by Tiwa’s fame and didn’t allow her to intimidate
her as she told the people around she wasn't rude to Tiwa.
“I was not rude to her. I only told her to go and board since
she had checked in her luggage. I wonder how that could mean that I was rude to
her,” Saturday Beats overheard the NAHCO staff saying.
Saturday
Beats gathered that Tiwa who eventually entered the boarding gate alongside
with her colleagues were on their way to Mauritius on board an Emirate flight.
It
would be recall that, Tiwa according to reports some months ago had an
encounter with a policeman and she allegedly removed his beret from his head.
I
hope the issue of Tiwa removing the beret of a policeman is a joke because if
it not, its both an insult to the policeman and the police force, irrespective
of what the policeman may have done.
Sometimes,
people think because they are “celebrities” special treatment should be
accorded them. Buying tickets for your shows, isn’t that enough special
treatment? There are no celebrities without fans. Your fans made you and not
the other way round. That NAHCO officer could have been a fan.
Celebrities
do things to get noticed and when they are called to order, it is seen as being
rude. Celebrities should please remember that they are human beings and therefore
should respect others and the rules wherever they find themselves. Rules will
not be bent for them just because they sing or drive big cars.
