I
remember the article written by Etcetera about Nigerian actresses marrying ‘tokunbo’
husbands and how some of them reacted. But of course we all know that he was
saying the truth.
Now
we are hearing another actress Uche Ogbodo who married, oh sorry according to
her, was engaged to a Norway based football agent Ato Ubby have reportedly split.
This of course was after she got pregnant for him.
The
Nollywood actress tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Nkanu, Enugu, in
October 2013.
Uche
had in the past told everyone who wanted to listen that she was married to Ato
but after the split she pleaded for forgiveness for rendering false claims.
Right!
She
said, “It wasn’t really marriage yet because it wasn’t fully formalized, we
were still in the process of formalizing it when all hell broke loose. So I was
merely engaged to be married to Ato Ubby.” She said.
When
asked to reveal what lead to the split, she called the question a
hard question but said, a month into the engagement and in the process of
planning for a formal wedding “I realized I had made the greatest mistake of my
life. The foundation of the Union was based on lies and deceit.”
What
a joke. You realized just one month into the formalization of the wedding, really! What
were you doing all the while you were dating the man and sleeping with him or
did you just came to the knowledge that he wasn't as rich as you thought or has he been acting since I also read she said, he wasn't married.
These
Nollywood actress makes me laugh, they constantly prove Etcetera right and yet
deny they don’t live that way. Who are they fooling?
Am just glad she and her hubby have decided to parent the child to together. That is a good sign that she is doing fine after the break-up. Well done Uche.
