Brazil 2014 World Cup: Was the Nigerian Team Selection ONLY Stephen Keshi's?

Martha of BBC sport said: Another weak attempt by Nigeria. Only bright spot remains the goalkeeper but some of the players selected for this World Cup are questionable.

This team was built to defend and not to attack. We only scored 3 goals and conceded 5. But for Keeper Enyeama, we would have conceded much more. We didn't have a bench.

When one of our player was injured, it took the coaching team almost 3 mins before they could find a substitution. Even when it became clear the player wasn't going to continue to play, the coaching crew were just looking around and did nothing to find a suitable replacement. Was it because there wasn't one or what?  Why was this so?

For whom was Sunday Mba dropped and why didn't that player play? Why was some players taken to a world cup and not played when a player who could make a difference left behind?

So many questions as lead me to ask, was the selection of the Nigerian 2014 World Cup Team solely that of Coach Stephen Keshi or was there external influences?

This team was good but not better than the Nation's Cup team. I maintain my initial submission.
