This is just unbelievable! Luis Suarez after bagging a 10 match ban in the EPL for biting Chelsea's Branislav Ivanovic, has done it again. In Uruguay's final group match with Italy, Suarez was caught on camera biting Italian defender Chiellini.
Read what people are saying about
it. I rest my case:
"These are exceptional
circumstances, it is the third time he has bitten someone. It is ridiculous.
"I think Liverpool will be panicking, they have a
player worth maybe £60m and could be banned for the whole season.
"Three strikes you have to be out. Biting someone at
a tournament of this prestige, they have to throw the book at him and lock him
up forever."
"I've just seen the best close-up angle yet here in the
stadium. It really does look like he has bitten him. Suarez nurses his teeth
afterwards."
"Luis Suarez, that is outrageous. That has to be a ban
across all levels of football if he has bitten him. It is absolutely
disgraceful."
"Luis Suarez was kicked, he was chased, he was pulled
and he hadn't reacted. But he reacted at the end and he is not allowed to do
that. If that is a bite then he is going to be a out for a long time. Even if
it was just a head butt, he is going to be suspended for the next game."
Luis Suarez never learns.
World class but has to be facing a 20-odd match ban now.
If Suarez was banned for 10 games in the Premier League,
surely he should miss the rest of the World Cup and then some?
Wanted to keep Suarez at Anfield. But for him to do that
at the World Cup? Put him in the shop window, sell to the first buyer.
"No matter what TV
screen you look at on this planet over the next 24 hours, you'll be seeing
replays of Luis Suarez's mouth and Giorgio Chiellini's shoulder.
"Four years ago I was in South Africa when Suarez's
deliberate handball saw Uruguay progress.
There's a massive feeling of
deja vu here in Natal."
Luis Suarez's controversial
incident with Italy's Giorgio Chiellini has sparked a huge Twitter reaction.
Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen:Tell
me I'm seeing things. Surely Suarez didn't bite someone again? I'm genuinely
gutted. I love watching him play more than any other player but he obviously
can't control himself.
Ex-Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre: One of Suarez's teeth got stuck into
Chiellini's shoulder!
Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick: Surely
that wasn't a bite? It can't have been, could it?
Just back from work? Missed
all the drama?
Let me remind you of what has happened.
Italy are out of the World Cup but Luis Suarez is in hot
water after an incident involving Giorgio Chiellini. The Italy defender claims
he was bitten by the Liverpool striker.
