Fashola lashes LASU school fees finally

The Lagos State Government has finally announced a reduction in the tuition of the state university, LASU.

It said it would reduce the fees by between 34 percent and 60 percent across the different faculties and courses.

This change may have come after students of the Lagos State University staged many protests including one that resulted in them cooking at the office of the Lagos State Governor in Alausa to air their grievances against the “high school fees” and had demanded its reduction.

I guess the Governor finally understood it takes much more than just power and authority to overcome the will of students, it takes consideration and compromise. Wise move sir.
