MAGIC JOHNSON AND SON EARVIN “EJ” JOHNSON III

Former NBA great Magic Johnson and his wife Cookie weren’t surprised when their now 21-year old son EJ announced he was gay. When EJ was 13 or 14, he said: “I told her (his mother) how I was feeling and she obviously told me that she had known and always would love me anyway. The same thing happened with my dad like a year or so later. Everyone has to get used to it. No parent is prepared 100 percent for something like that. We all had to work and move forward.” Today EJ is studying event management and design at New York University.

When the Chicago Bulls legend saw internet photos of his eldest daughter Jasmine, 21 in a romantic pose with Syracuse University woman’s basketball player Carmen Tyson-Thomas, he turned to pal Magic Johnson for advice. “Michael loves all his kids unconditionally, but he was shocked to find out about Jasmine,” said a source. “He and his ex-wife Juanita are at a loss. They’re concerned about how this will affect Jasmine’s future.” While MJ always dreamed Jasmine would marry and start a family, a source said: “Magic told Michael those things can still happen for Jasmine, it just might not be with a man.”

DICK CHENEY AND DAUGHTER MARY

The former vice president of America’s daughter Mary, 45, wed her partner Heather Poe in June 2012. She also gave birth to their children, Samuel, 7, and Sarah, 4. But her sister Liz triggered a family feud when she blasted gay marriage while campaigning for the U.S. Senate in November 2013. Dick Cheney said in a statement: “This is an issue we have dealt with privately for years. And we are pained to see it become public.” But Mary hit back on Facebook, writing: “Liz – this isn’t just an issue on which we disagree – you’re just wrong - and on the wrong side of history.

BETTY WHITE AND STEPDAUGHTER SARAH LUDDEN

Sarah Ludden, 61 has been in a relationship with partner Nacy Lanoue for more than 20 years – and Betty has long accepted her stepdaughter’s sexuality. “I don’t care who anybody sleeps with, “declared 92-year old Betty, a gay rights activist. “If a couple has been together all that time – and there are gay relationships that are more solid than some heterosexual ones – I think it’s fine if they want to get married.” A source added: “Betty’s dream would be to see Sarah marry Nancy in her lifetime.”

GLORIA VANDERBILT AND SON ANDERSON COOPER

The CNN anchor, 46, announced is not-so-secret sexuality in July 2012 – and since then his famous mom, socialite/designer Gloria Vanderbilt, has urged him to marry his partner so they can adopt. Cooper plans to wed his beau of five years – 41-year old gay bar owner Ben Maisani – but no date has been set. Now 90, Gloria “is already a grandmother of three,” noted a source. But at her age she’s desperate to see her son settled with a family. And she wasn’t afraid to tell her son and Ben how lucky they were to have found love.”

MICHAEL LANDON AND SON CHRISTOPHER

Christopher, 39, came out in 1999, eight years after the “Little House on the Prairie” star died of pancreatic cancer at age 54. But Christopher’s father suspected his sexuality. “I think he’s gay,” Landon told his third wife, Cindy. “I hope he figures it out and I am sure he will.” Christopher, now a successful screenwriter and producer, said: “He knew …he was just waiting for me to figure it out.” A family source added: “Michael would have been proud of Chris’ honesty in coming out. I know he didn’t care if his son was gay or straight as long as he was a good man.”

MARIA OSMOND AND DAUGHTER JESSICA

With her Mormon faith forbidding homosexuality, Marie Osmond found it particularly tough when her adopted daughter Jessica came out as a lesbian at age 17. “Marie was in a difficult position when Jessica told her that she was not only gay, but had a girlfriend,” said a source. “On one hand, Marie loves Jessica and wants her to be happy. But on the other hand, she believes it’s against God’s law to have homosexual relationships.” Now 26, Jessica works as a law enforcement officer, and Marie says: “I think my daughter deserves everything she desires in life.”

CHER AND SON CHAZ SALVATORE BONO

Chaz is the daughter or now son of Superstar Cher. He is the only child of American entertainers Sonny and Cher. Bono is a transgender man. In 1995 after several years of being ousted as lesbian by the tabloid press, he publicly self-identified himself as such. Between 2008 and 2010, Bono underwent female-to-male gender transition and in May 2010, he legally changed his gender and name.

BARBRA STREISAND AND SON JASON GOULD

Sometime ago, The National Enquirer ran a story claiming Barbra Streisand was feuding with her gay son, Jason Gould. The paper claimed the showbiz icon, 70, wanted her boy to “settle down with on guy” and give her some grandkids.

After the story ran, though, Streisand issued a “Truth Alert” to call it out as fib:

“I was just made aware of a ridiculous story in one of those weekly rags. This is just to say that the story is untrue in every respect, just unmitigated, sloppy, and malicious invention. The madness of the constant inaccuracy of these publications is evidenced by the facts that in this recent story the main photo they use of ‘Jason’ is not even Jason!”

The Enquirer issued a correction about the photo but hasn’t back away from the original “feud” claim. Instead the paper said Mama and Baby Boy mended fences at her 70^th birthday party in Malibu. Streisand allegedly credits John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston for the reunion: ‘Barbra is beyond grateful to John and Kelly for what they’ve done,” an ‘insider” tells the mag.

R n B Superstar, Robert Kelly, popularly known as R. Kelly has a daughter who prefers to be called Jay and likes to associate herself with men rather than women. She calls herself a “transguy” meaning a female looking like a male and exhibiting a man’s qualities.

Mother of the 14-year old, Andrea is said not to be disturbed by her daughter’s behavior.

According to a US-based blogger, Sandra Rose, Jaya’s mother Andrea was not disturbed by her daughter’s new lifestyle and accepted it.

The world has become so vanity conscious that people only think of the world now and forget their is a world after this. God made you a particular gender and you think He made a mistake?
